We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Garden Programs Assistant: Deadline to apply is March 1st, 2019.

Urban Farm Assistant: Deadline to apply is March, 8th, 2019.

Field Trips & Volunteer Assistant: Deadline to apply is March 29th, 2019.

Stipend position: 
Garden Mentor: Deadline to apply is March 8th, 2019.

Internships

Internships Growing Hope supports high school, college, and out-of-school individuals in unpaid internships throughout the year. We can work with you to meet internship requirements for school when relevant. We require, in general, a minimum 12 week commitment, with a regular schedule working a minimum of 10 hours/week.  See below for specific descriptions and opportunities!

Farm and Gardens Internships

Home Vegetable Garden Program Internship March through mid-July or August, 2019

Growing Flowers for Earned Revenue Internship
Spring Term: May 2, 2019 for a minimum of 10 hours/week, for at least 12 weeks.  
Summer Term*: July 15 for a minimum of 10 hours/week, for at least 12 weeks.  
*Intern applicants who can serve for the summer term as well will be given priority.

                Urban Farming Internship
                Spring: April 1st , 2019 for a minimum of 10 hours/week, for at least 12 weeks.
                Summer*: June 24th, 2019 for a minimum of 10 hours/week, for at least 12 weeks.
                Fall: August 26th, 2019 for a minimum of 10 hours/week, for at least 12 weeks.
                *Intern applicants who can serve for the summer term as well will be given priority. 

Youth & School Internships

     Teen Leadership Program Internship
       Spring/Summer Term: Available May 1, 2019. 15 hours/week for 16 weeks.

  Youth Field Trip Internship
       Spring/Summer Term: Available April 1, 2019. 10 hours/week for 18 weeks
       Summer/Fall Term: Available August 1, 2019. 10 hours/week for 13 weeks.

       Farmers Markets Internships 

             Farmers Market Food Assistance Internship  
               Summer Term: April 1, 2019August 31, 2019. *Intern applicants who can serve for
the Fall Term will be given priority.*
               Fall Term: August 12-October 30, 2019. Indoor Market continues until December 17,
2019. Preference given to someone who can stay on until December. We understand
that school schedules and school internship requirements may differ from the
market season. Minimum commitment requirement is 10 hours per week for 12
weeks

             Nutrition Educator Internship
Summer Term-
June 3 2019- August 30, 2019. 15 hours per week.
Additional Hours Available July 10-August 30 assisting with sampling and food
demonstrations for Growing Hope’s  Mobile Farm Stand.

            Farmers Market Social Media Intern
Summer Term: April 15, 2019 -August 31, 2019. 10-12 hours per week 
Fall Term:  August 12, 2019-October, 2019 

 Board of Directors

Our full board meets monthly with additional monthly committee meetings. The time commitment is roughly 8-10 hours each month. We’re looking for board members ready to be good ambassadors and fundraisers for the organization, and who can help to oversee the governance and future of Growing Hope.
