Robert C. Barnes Sr. MarketPlace Hall

The Robert C. Barnes Sr. MarketPlace Hall, located in the heart of downtown Ypsilanti, features a charming, industrial-chic space ideal for weddings, celebrations, fundraisers, corporate events, workshops and more. This site can accommodate indoor and outdoor events with easy access to many great downtown businesses, public transportation, and ample parking. The indoor space has a capacity of 130 guests for a standing/strolling event or 100 for a seated event. Additional outdoor space is available as well. Tables and chairs are provided free of charge and other event supplies are available for rent.

In order to follow the orders from The State of Michigan, MIOSHA and the Washtenaw County Health Department, we have precautions in place for all 2020- 2021 eventsThese measures are meant to keep you, your guests, your vendors, and our staff healthy and safe. Under the executive order beginning on October 9, 2020, we are allowed to have gatherings of up to 10 indoors and up to 25 for outdoor gatherings (MarketPlace Hall Lot)

We are tracking the latest news from the Michigan Supreme Court ruling as it pertains to gathering restrictions, however at this time we do not anticipate hosting events of more than 25 guests outdoors and 10 guests indoors through April 2021. This is due to the size of our indoor spaces and our commitment to the safety of all guests on property, including staff and vendors. For further details, please fill out the form below.
