Ypsi Urban Farmers

Through a monthly breakfast and networking opportunities for people of all backgrounds interested in urban agriculture and producing food in the city, the Ypsi Urban Farmers are a loose gathering of community members.  They are also a vehicle for community input on local urban farming legislations (chickens, bees), and for gauging community interest to help guide our priorities.

Interest in urban agriculture, community self-reliance, local food, and sustainability is at an all-time high in Ypsilanti.  Growing Hope is bringing people together for our Ypsi Urban Farmer Breakfast to network, strategize, and dream up creative ways we can support each other to bring ideas to fruition.  Breakfasts are held at 7:30am on the first Thursday of each month at various locations around Ypsi including Bombadills, Beezy's Café, Ugly Mug and Café Luwak.  Anyone and everyone is invited, so bring your friends for some delicious food and exciting discussion to get your day started.

Check for updates on our website to find out where the next Ypsi Urban Farmer Breakfast will be.
