Retailing at $15, our calendar features the vibrant photography of Amanda Maria Edmonds, Growing Hope’s founder and Executive Director, and showcases fresh harvests from farmers’ markets, gardens, and farms throughout the area. Gardening and local food enthusiasts will appreciate the many key pieces of information included: key dates in the growing season (including first and last frost dates and major garden activities by month), lists of food available in-season in Michigan (reminding us that eating with the seasons supports our health and our economy), and major Growing Hope and community activities as reminders to come see us throughout the year!
Often displayed prominently at local stores and restaurants, the calendar is very popular and many are given as gifts throughout the Washtenaw region. The 2015 calendar is full color, measures 8.5 x 11 inches, displays one month per page, and is bound with a plastic comb or spiral ring. We expect a circulation of 500, primarily within Washtenaw County, and it will be available for sale in November 2014.
