Growing Gardens

Growing Hope's Growing Garden Programs:

  • Growing Gardens Membership:  Growing Gardens membership was designed to be a simple way for you to find the community, support and resouces you need to be a successful gardener.  You can join as an individual/household or as a group (for community gardens, school gardens, et al).

  • Garden Leadership Training: Our Garden Leadership Training prepares teams to begin or grow their garden project, by focusing on project planning, community organizing, and a little site planning in this 15 hour course.

  • Seed Starting Squad: We provide the light stand set up & education to community volunteers engage in growing seedlings at home for themselves, neighbors, and Growing Hope.  2014 is mostly full, but you can click through and learn more-- and if we have an opening at the last minute we can let you know!

  • Lending Library: Individual and Group Growing Gardens Members can check out tools, small equipment, books, and curricular materials.  As they become available, from time-to-time we donate other garden materials to Group Members.

  • Home Vegetable Garden Installation Program: Since 2009 we've been engaging low-and no-income families in installing raised bed vegetable gardens in their homes and apartments while providing tracking material.  Please contact us directly at 734.786.8401 to see if this program is a good fit for you!  Space is limited.
