Founder’s Fund. After more than 15 years, founding Executive Director Amanda Maria Edmonds is retiring from Growing Hope at the end of 2017. She is passing the torch to a strong team of senior leadership staff, and to a great overall team of staff, volunteers, and partners. Edmonds is excited to support the organization as it transitions through this major milestone, so that the impact of Growing Hope can continue and grow. In honor of her leadership, and to set up the organization to thrive going forward, we have launched a Founder’s Fund. Your gift to this fund will give crucial operational support to keep Growing Hope able to further its mission to help people grow and access healthy food, and to use good food as opportunity for growing jobs, health, and community. Join us in honoring Edmonds through contributing to this fund. Select “Founder’s Fund” when you make your online gift, or mail a gift noting Founder’s Fund to Growing Hope, PO Box 980129, Ypsilanti, MI 48198..

When you give, you are part of helping to empower local communities to access, grow, and eat healthy food. We believe that healthy food is a basic human right, and your support helps make it a reality for people in Ypsilanti and beyond.
Donate to the Completion of the Ypsilanti Farmers MarketPlace. Creating year-round local food access is our top priority and the Ypsilanti Farmers MarketPlace will do just that. We have reclaimed an unused warehouse in Downtown Ypsilanti and a former driver-thru bank on Washington Street and begun the crucial work of bringing this space to life. A year round market will multiply the economic and health impacts for Ypsilanti residents. The demand for healthy local food is high, but we are limited by the capacity of an outdoor space, shortened season and weather disruptions. Plus, the MarketPlace houses YpsiPlanti Garden Supply, will host events, and will launch a kitchen incubator for local entrepreneurs. After 3 years and tremendous community support, we are nearing the completion of the facility and expect it to be done in early 2018. We need additional support to put us over the finish line and get the MarketPlace fully open! Donate to the Ypsilanti Farmers MarketPlace today!
Sponsorship Coming in early 2018, sponsorships will be available for our Ypsilanti Farmers Markets, Ypsilanti Mobile Farm Stand, Chefs in the Garden fundraising dinners, YpsiTasty the Local Food Grub Crawl, and more! For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org
