Enjoy great food and drink amidst our blossoming urban farm to benefit Growing Hope! Our signature dinner on the farm series has a stellar line-up this year, and we’re so excited to welcome guests for three evenings of fabulous farm-to-table dining. Guests will enjoy a gourmet farm-to-table meal prepared by celebrated regional chefs, delicious beer and wines, and show-stopping desserts. Take in the beauty of late summer and early fall on our working urban farm in the heart of Ypsilanti! Tickets are $55 each, or two for $100, with special discounts for tables of 6, or when you buy tickets to all three dinners. Our August dinner on Sunday, August 27th features local celebrity chef Eve Aronoff of Frita Batidos.  Eve has been delighting diners for years with her unique vision and big flavors, and she’s cooking up some sublime seasonal deliciousness this Sunday. Here’s the menu!
Appetizers by Frita Batidos:
Bubble bread – Cuban bread slathered with Michigan sharp cheeses
Twice fried garlic plantains with sweet chili mayo
Mini gazpacho topped with creme fraiche
Main course by Frita Batidos:
Aromatic Roasted Pork with Coconut Rice
Growing Hope Farm Salad and Vegetables (made by GH volunteer chef Damon Currier)
Dessert:
Assorted Pastries by Panadería La Bendición

September’s dinner on Sunday, September 17th features the dream team of beloved Ypsilanti establishment Bona Sera restaurant and awesome local chef Andrew Stevick (lately of The Brinery). We know this team will wow our guests with marvelous food with plenty of lovingly-sourced ingredients and some fun twists. Here’s the menu!
Starters:
Tomato vodka consommé
Fresh ricotta tart
Boiled peanuts with lime
Dinner:
Roast beets with grapefruit vanilla vinaigrette and pistachios
Roast eggplant
Kale salad with cherry bomb peppers
Warm tempeh salad – with The Brinery tempeh
Spice rubbed roast potatoes
Pernil style roast pork
Dessert:
Local fruit crumble with Chamomile honey whipped cream – featuring Zilke Vegetable Farm peaches and blueberries

October’s dinner on Sunday, October 15th features celebrated local chef Brandon Johns of Grange Kitchen & Bar, with spectacular desserts from Sweet Heather Anne. This team has made outstanding meals for us the last several years, showcasing Chef Johns’ bold flavors, and Heather Anne Leavitt’s stunning dessert artistry.
